Bring heritage grandeur to your home with our luxury cushion cover crafted from GP & J Baker's Rockbird Velvet in Indigo, from the celebrated Signature Velvets collection. Rockbird is one of GP & J Baker's most iconic archive designs — a beautifully painted scene of exotic birds perched among trailing florals — here reimagined as a sumptuous printed velvet on a deep indigo blue ground. Woven from 90% cotton with a soft, plush hand-feel, every cushion captures the romance of English country house decoration with the indulgent luxury of true designer velvet.
The rich indigo palette and bird-and-floral storytelling make this cushion an irresistible statement — at home in traditional drawing rooms, dark academia studies, chinoiserie-inspired bedrooms, layered library snugs and beautifully curated maximalist interiors. Pair with antique brass, soft creams, deep teal, jewel-tone velvets and warm timbers. Each cover is handmade to order in the UK by Mayevelyne Interiors, finished with a concealed zipper closure, and available with either a plain complementary backing fabric or double-sided (the main fabric on both sides). Custom sizes available on request.
