Our cushion cover in William Morris's Fruit brings his historical design of trailing pomegranates and foliage to life as a rich woven tapestry. In this Crimson and Thyme colourway, deep red fruit and green leaves are woven through the cloth for wonderful texture and depth.
A warm, characterful choice for traditional and period rooms, it pairs beautifully with deep reds, greens and warm wood. Each cover is handmade to order in the UK by Mayevelyne Interiors, finished with a concealed zipper closure, and available with either a plain complementary backing fabric or double-sided (the main fabric on both sides). Custom sizes available on request.

I wanted some William Morris cushions to go onto my wing back chairs. As I have several William Morris cushions in the room I wanted these to stand out a little. I picked fruits because the pattern is perfect for the task. Now here's the shocker, go to John Lewis and buy a metre of this fabric and you will pay £97. So in terms of making 2 cushions, including the velvet back fabric, the zip and if like me you pay to get them made you are looking at around £125 . So I would say in those terms alone this is a Bargain. Add to that the high quality of the work and the excellent customer service I think that it's a no brainer. Would I use this maker again, yes I would this was the second order. Says it all
I have been dressing my living room with William Morris textiles. I have a day bed which I have had cushions made for and covered in bellflower weave and have several scatter cushions in a range of patterns. I wanted this pattern scatter cushion for my wing backs. At £97 per metre from John Lewis fruits is not a cheap fabric. Costing out buying the fabric, the back fabric and getting them made I found that it was cheaper to buy them from here. This is the genuine fabric (I have a sample to prove it) the quality of the backing fabric is up to the quality I wanted and the cushions have been well made. I am very pleased indeed. I have since ordered a larger pair
